Public Works Director/City Engineer

Job Description

Serves in an executive level position planning, directing and managing through subordinate supervisors the City’s Public Works Department including: maintenance of facilities, streets, vehicles, parks shared use paths and bridges; storm drainage, surface water management; wastewater facilities; signage; solid waste management; new facility construction; equipment replacement; and related programs. Serves as the City’s Engineer responsible for all engineering services which consist of the design and construction supervision of all public improvements and ensures compliance with City codes for all private engineering construction plans. Serves as the City’s bicycle coordinator for grant funding projects.
